Mike Auldridge

Mike Auldridge is one of the greatest, most influential dobro players in the world. As a founding member of the legendary bluegrass group The Seldom Scene, Mike's musicianship raised the 'bar' (so to speak) for the dobro to a 'whole new level'! His well documented innovations are required reading for the instrument, as future generation of great dobroists have all been influenced one way or another by the "master of slide".
Besides many solo efforts, Mike can also be heard on recordings with Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, Hank Williams Jr, Suzy Boggus and Merle Travis to name a few.
