Kevin Lutke

Kevin Lutke is a great jazz guitarist/composer who has recorded and performed with many notable musicians in a diverse range of styles including: rock, blues, pop and jazz. Well schooled in theory, Kevin holds a masters degree in jazz performance/NYU where he studied composition with Jim McNeely.
Kevin's first recording "The Road To Santa Ynez" received rave reviews and also featured jazz piano great Art Lande. On his second CD Fallenwood, Kevin shows his skills as both composer and soloist, along with featured performances by Blue Note recording artist Bill Charlap. The Fallenwood release party was held at the highly regarded NYC jazz venue Birdland to a capacity audience!
Besides receiving two National Endowment grants, Kevin also received many excellent high profile reviews for his music- Jazz Times wrote: "With a smooth chorusey tone and a fluid, seamless technique, guitarist Kevin Lutke packs his Fallenwood with accessible, illustrative melodies which never lack for inventive timing."
