Gary Hamlin

Gary Hamlin unleashes his own version of country-to-country rock music that is truly his own brand. Gary was given his first fiddle at age four and was chosen at age ten to start a new method of learning to play the violin (the Suzuki Method). This method obviously worked as by the age of 14 Gary won the Oregon State Fiddler's Contest! While in high school, Gary played with different symphonies and recorded four classical albums. He has also taught classical violin at community college. Gary moved to Nashville and met Vassar Clements who was and still is an inspiration to him. "I try to keep things fresh... every day I experiment and know that every day is a blessing on this earth and every day is still a learning experience for me!"
