Bob
Harris

Acoustic guitarist Bob Harris (also
known as the "Les Paul" of the acoustic guitar) has performed
and recorded on nearly 1000 albums and sessions with some of the industry's
top acoustic and country musicians. A member of fiddle legend Vassar
Clements' band for 14 years, Bob was also the first place winner of
Guitar Player International's "Ultimate Guitar Competition"
in 1992 for the "CAJUN STOMP".
In 2000, Bob and his singing partner Luck Clark released an album
on Atlantic Records entitled "Sentimental Reasons"- an all
acoustic tribute to Les Paul and Mary Ford. Don't be fooled by the
title, as there are plenty of amazing up tempo cuts that are reminiscent
of the hot early days of Les Paul.
After 25 years of recording and performance, many requests for guitar
lessons soon found Bob accommodating students all over the world,
with his innovative method of CD lessons by mail. His specialty..
getting the guitarist to simply sound great, no matter what level
they are on.
